NTPC’s Progress – From Foundation Stone to Powerhouse of India

As of March 2023, NTPC commands 17% of the total national capacity and contributes 25% of the total power generation in India. Additionally, NTPC has set ambitious goals for a sustainable future. It aims to install 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032, accompanied by a 10% reduction in net energy intensity. With these targets, NTPC envisions becoming a 130 GW company with a diversified fuel mix, contributing significantly to India’s renewable energy goals.
